The garments are made from advanced arc- and flame-resistant materials. The inherently FR fabric system is made up of an outer shell and quilted liner made from a blend of high performance fibers such as para-aramid, meta-aramid, OPF, and Novoloid. Besides the garments, the kits include a hood, hard cap, face shield, 14" Class 2 rubber insulating gloves, 12" leather protectors, safety glasses, earplugs, glove bag, and gear bag.

The 12 Cal Hood Jacket and Pant Kit comes with navy 12 cal hooded jacket and pants made from arc and flame-resistant UltraSoft, a fabric blend made from 88% cotton and 12% nylon. The jacket has all Velcro closures and knit wristlets, and pants feature front Velcro closure, belt loops, and leg slits with continuous Velcro closures. Garments are AR / FR, and loose fitting to allow for air pockets that provide extra protection. The kit also includes a hard cap, face shield with chin cup, cap bracket, knit Nomex hood, 11" Class "0" rubber insulating gloves, leather protector gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, glove bag, and gear bag.
